Ariana Ramsey and Tahna Wilfley nominated for HSBC SVNS Awards 2026

USA Women’s Eagles Sevens stars, Ariana Ramsey and Tahna Wilfley have been announced as nominees for the HSBC SVNS Awards 2026. 

Olympian and veteran, Ramsey is in contention for Women's SVNS Player of the Year, while teammate Wilfley has been named in the Women's SVNS Rookie of the Year recognizing the standout performances both players have put in over this past HSBC SVNS 2026 season.  With athletes lighting up the pitch in both awards categories, these nominations demonstrate the electric style and energy the USA Highwomen have put on display across the SVNS Series and World Championships this season.

Each Award category has shortlisted 3 players, with winners to be revealed this weekend following the HSBC SVNS World Championship Final in Bordeaux on Sunday, June 7th. Winners of the HSBC SVNS Dream Teams and Gilbert Top Try Scorer awards will also be announced.

Coming off a silver medal performance this past weekend in Valladolid, the USA Women’s Eagles travel to Bordeaux looking for a podium performance to close out the season. With USA Women’s Eagles players nominated in both categories, the HSBC SVNS Awards 2026 highlights the energetic season the USA Highwomen have put on display. 

A number of special honours will also be presented in Bordeaux, including the Men’s and Women's SVNS Top Try Scorer and the Men’s and Women's SVNS Dream Team of the Year recognizing the players who have consistently delivered world-class performances throughout the season. 

World Rugby CEO Alan Gilpin said:
