The NSW Waratahs are proud to announce a new three-year partnership with Guinness, which will become the club’s official beer partner through to the end of 2028.

An iconic brand synonymous with rugby around the world, Guinness’ partnership with the Waratahs reinforces its long-standing commitment to the game and its supporters.

As part of the agreement, Guinness will feature prominently across Waratahs matchdays, including Guinness pouring at Allianz Stadium with strong activity in venues supporting the partnership. Fans will be able to enjoy Guinness at Allianz Stadium and across key venues alongside the Waratahs official pub, the Woollahra Hotel.

Waratahs General Manager Adam Fulepp says the partnership is a natural fit, with Guinness also the official beer partner for the British & Irish Lions tour in Australia last year and a long-term partner for the Six Nations Championship in Europe.

“We’re delighted to welcome Guinness to the Waratahs family for the next three years,” Fulepp said.

“Guinness and rugby share a rich history and this partnership reflects their commitment to rugby and enhancing the matchday experience for our members and fans.”

Amy Hiscock, Brand Director for Craft & Premium Brands at Lion, said Guinness is excited to align with one of Australian rugby’s most recognisable teams.

“Guinness and Rugby have long been a perfect match, and the Waratahs are such a big and well-loved part of the sport in Australia,” Hiscock said.

“We’re proud to bring the two together in this partnership with the Club and look forward to giving fans more opportunities to enjoy a pint of Guinness, whether they’re in the stands or watching with mates at the pub.”

The partnership commences immediately and Guinness will be available from the first home match this Friday night at Allianz Stadium (7.35pm kick-off), where the Waratahs take on the Reds to kick off the 2026 Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific season.

You can buy tickets for the Round 1 clash between the NSW Waratahs and the Reds at Allianz Stadium on Friday 13 February here.
