Pukekohe lock Callum Adams will reach the 100-game milestone on Saturday when his side hosts Karaka in an ANZAC Day belter at Colin Lawrie Fields.

Adams has been a feature of the Pukekohe pack and a key member of the side since his debut back in 2015.

“Honestly, Callum is just a top man,” coach Michael Porter told Counties Sports Hub. “He means a lot to our team and drives our standards on and off the field.

“He wears his heart on his sleeve, which we love, and off the field he is a great family man to his wife and children.

“It means a lot to our club to see him play 100 games for the club he loves.”

Pukekohe take a three-game winning streak into the contest and have not mentioned anything about losing to Karaka in the competition final last year.

“We know Karaka will bring good forwards and some speed out wife. We will just focus on ourselves this week and get our game right,” Porter added.
