Samuel Whitelock honoured in New Year's Honours.
Congratulations to Samuel Whitelock, who is made an ONZM in the 2025 New Year’s Honours List, had more appearances for the All Blacks than any other player, taking the field for the national team 153 times before retiring from rugby in 2023. He captained the team 18 times during his 13 years at international level.
He has also been an ambassador for Farmstrong, a nationwide wellbeing programme for the rural community to help farm better.
Samuel attended Feilding High School from 2002 to 2006 and was in the 1st XV from 2004 and 2006 and was Captain in 2006.
