With everything on the line at Championship Weekend in Saratoga, two clubs rose to the occasion.
On the Men’s side, Fairfield Yankees fought their way through a challenging championship bracket. Overcoming an early loss to table leaders Danbury in pool play and bouncing back to defeat them in the final, Fairfield clinched both the tournament and the overall Men's Series title.
For the Women, NYRC continued their strong form all summer long, finishing 3rd behind Boston and Albany in Saratoga, but secured the highest finish of all Empire-eligible clubs to take the Women’s Series crown.
Congratulations to all 21 EGU clubs that competed throughout the summer, and a big thank you to the organizers at each tournament stop for making this year's Series possible.
