The Knights came up short in last week's Major Semi Final against the Nerang Bulls, sending them into a knockout clash with a hungry PBC Alleygators outfit.
A win would extend the Knights' remarkable run of Grand Final appearances.
With history on the line, we spoke with the man who has taken the reins of the Knights in 2026, coach Seth Stoltenberg, to hear about his teams preparations.
Stoltenberg: We beat them a couple of times throughout the regular season but as everyone knows, finals are different.
I wouldn't say the game got away from us, we just had a couple of things not go our way throughout the game and failed to move forward from that as a group.
Nerang are good at slowing the game down when it suits them and if you don't take advantage of opportunities, then unfortunately results may not go your way on the day.
Stoltenberg: We know what's required to win this game; we put in the work each week to prepare the best way we can, so it'll be business as usual for us.
Stoltenberg: The Alleygators have built nicely throughout the season, all the momentum is with them, especially with the home final.
We know the challenge that's ahead of us and I'm sure we'll be up for it.
Stoltenberg: Finals are different to the regular season.
We're at the business end now with all remaining teams looking to achieve the goals they set at the start of the season.
Stoltenberg: We've worked hard on developing our game throughout the season, when we put it all together, we can compete with anyone in the competition.
We'll just be focusing on getting the basics right so we can give ourselves the best opportunity to win.
Stoltenberg: Not really, for us we've prioritised recovery each week thanks to our sponsors at P3 in Ashmore.
The boys have been using that elite level recovery centre each week.
Otherwise, business as usual for the week ahead. We know what's required, so we just need to put that into practice.
