2026 Fortescue Women's Premier Grade Round 13 Recap

Kalamunda and Wests Scarborough recorded commanding victories in Round 13 of the Women’s Fortescue Premier Grade competition, with just one round remaining before the Finals.

Kalamunda produced an eight-try attacking display to secure a convincing 48–5 victory over Southern Lions. Heke led the scoring with a hat-trick, while Gumina, Kereopa and Talau also crossed. Two further tries were scored by a player whose name was withheld. Southern Lions continued to compete but were unable to slow Kalamunda’s momentum, with Rule scoring their only try of the match.

Wests Scarborough delivered a strong all-round performance to defeat Cottesloe 27–0 and build valuable momentum heading into the final round. MacAskill crossed twice, while Knight, Marama and Stephens each added tries of their own. Garner contributed one conversion as Wests Scarborough combined an impressive attacking performance with a determined defensive effort to keep Cottesloe scoreless.

With only one round of the regular season remaining, the focus now turns to the final opportunity for teams to strengthen their positions before the Women’s Fortescue Premier Grade Finals begin.
